Welcome to the Sport Endurance - Peak & Forest Group website

The Vision of Sport Endurance is to form a modern, professional, national sporting Endurance Riding organisation which provides equal opportunities to all, whatever their experience. To enable Sport Endurance to achieve these goals various groups have been set up covering all parts of the country. The Peak and Forest group was formed to cover the areas of Derbyshire - the Peaks of Derbyshire being the geographical association of the name with Derbyshire - and Nottinghamshire - the Forest of Sherwood being the geographical name associated with Nottinghamshire. The Peak and Forest group also support the adjoining areas of Leicestershire and Lincolnshire.

Regular group meetings are held and members are always welcome to attend. Anyone who wishes to attend should contact Jenni Davis.

We welcome your comments and suggestions and contributions to our newsletter and website are always welcome.

Rides can only run if we have enough help on the day, and members need to help with at least one ride to qualify for awards, locally and nationally. In addition to this anyone who helps will receive a pleasure ride voucher for a Peak and Forest ride. You will also be fed and watered and receive the organisers grateful thanks.We also welcome suggestions for new routes/venues etc, particularly in areas committee members are not familiar with. If you have not organised a ride before we can help and support you.

The Peak and Forest group are delighted to announce that the national hardware store, Wilkinson, have agreed to sponsor a trophy for the group. The trophy will be called The Wilkinson Challenge Cup and will be awarded at the Peak and Forest presentation to the best newcomer.
